25 weeks and Counting...

Baby Girl and I had another check up on Monday.  (Nov.24th) And everything is looking good. When Sharon (my midwife) was listening to baby Mabry's heart beat she kept on kicking.  So it sounded like boom, boom, boom, kick.. boom, boom, boom, kick.  The baby obviously, knew that there was something different around her.  Some say that when babies are in the womb, they can hear and feel all kinds of things.  But it was just funny to actually hear her kick...I have been feeling her for about a couple weeks now, kicking pretty strongly.  It comes and goes.. I will feel her kick for a min.  and than I wont feel her for a while.  But when I do it is like, wow, there is something in there.  And it is usually when I am laying down getting ready for bed or when I get up for the 2nd or 3rd time to pee during the night.  So it was a different type of feeling actually hearing her kick on Monday.  Speaking of kicking Jeff has finally felt her kick.  So that is kind of cool. Of course it isn't too strong yet.  But he felt it.  And I am sure as time goes on he will feel her more and more...So that is exciting.  

Tomorrow I will be 25 weeks.  It is kind of crazy to think how far I am along in this whole process.  Right now they say that she is about 1 lb and 9 oz.  I have attached a picture from a website that kind of shows what she might look like in there right now.  Well, I guess sometime soon I will try and post the ultrasound pics from a couple weeks ago.  And also what Jeff and I are thinking about doing for her room and maybe event tell ya her name.  YEAH RIGHT...That is a whole other blog.  Names and how Jeff and I are having a rough time trying to figure it out...  We both have worked with too many kids... Maternity Clothes

Today I went to the mall for the first time in a long time.  And I observed a couple things about maternity clothes.  First of all if a pregnant woman walks into a department store looking for maternity clothes.  GOOD LUCK...And than when you finally ask someone where they are located. You find out they are by the petite clothes, the PETITE clothes.  Way to make a pregnant feel great about themselves! And/or they are located in some obscure corner behind the HUGE underwear or Double D BRAS.  GREAT!!!   Another thing that I have observed is every time I start looking at the maternity clothes I get discouraged at how "lovely" they are and decide not to get any at all.  SOOO...Right now my biggest problem is that I am 6 months pregnant next week and I am still trying to fit myself into my "normal clothes."  Now, I have bought a couple of pieces of maternity pieces clothes and I tend to ware them almost everyday.  However, it is tricky since I have to dress up so much for school.  But I still think that its hard to decide what I want to buy...So I just keep looking.. Anyone have any good places to look for baby mama clothes???

22 Weeks Today

Today Baby Mabry is 22 weeks along.  I guess that means I am a little more than half way through my pregnancy, which is kind of crazy.  I feel like it has already gone by sooooo fast.  Right now I am feeling pretty good.   Nothing really to complain about.  I am starting to feel her kick and move around which is kind of crazy.  So that has been pretty cool.  For such a long time I just felt sick but now I can actually feel her move.  Which makes me feel more connected with what is going on with my body.  And with the little baby growing in me.  I could probably cut the coffee I drink every day but I don't.  So that could be another reason she moves a lot.  I love it though.  The next thing I can't wait to happen is for Jeff to feel her too!  : )  I think it will make it more real for him once he feels her move!  I will have to let you all know when this happens.  I will also be posting pregnant Stephanie Pics soon!  BEWARE!!!  Oh and by the way its a GIRL!!
